9 Best Target Circle Week Deals (2023): iPads, Apple Watch, and Stand Mixers

-

- Advertisment -

Deals season is here! We’re starting with Target Circle Week, which runs from October 1 through October 7. Next week is Amazon’s October Prime Day sale event, and early Prime Day deals have already kicked off.

Target’s Circle Week is—you guessed it—a week of deals on Target’s site, but it’s a little trickier to navigate than Prime Day or similar deals events. To get a deal, you’ll need a Target Circle account (which is free to make if you don’t have one already) and you’ll have to save the coupon from either Target’s offer page or choose the “+ Save” option next to the offer on the product page to see the discounted price in your cart. Target’s deals are changing daily, but these are the best deals that caught our eye so far, from Apple Watches and iPads to Halloween costumes.

For more deals be sure to check out WIRED’s own coupon page, which right now features 20 percent off sitewide at Dyson and $20 off when you spend $50 at Walmart.

Special offer for Gear readers: Get WIRED for just $5 ($25 off). This includes unlimited access to WIRED.com, full Gear coverage, and subscriber-only newsletters. Subscriptions help fund the work we do every day.

Apple Deals

Last year’s Apple Watch Series 8 (8/10, WIRED Recommends) has competition with the brand-new Series 9, but there’s good news! Apple has barely changed much with the Series 9 (7/10, WIRED Recommends). We’d prefer it if it was under $300, but this Circle Week deal is pretty darn close if you’re looking for a well-priced Apple Watch. Just know that there’s a chance the new Series 9 will drop to a similar price during Black Friday.

Our favorite Apple Watch for most people is still Apple’s entry-level option, the Apple Watch SE. The deal for this second-gen model isn’t anything crazy, but it’s already a well-priced smartwatch, so why not snag it for a little cheaper when you can? This one still supports health features such as fall detection and crash detection, but no electrocardiogram.

The latest version of the Apple iPad (7/10, WIRED Recommends) gets some modern updates, such as USB-C charging, a larger 10.9-inch display, 5G support on the cellular model, and a centered camera for video calls. It still only works with the first-gen Apple Pencil, which could be a bonus if you already have one.

This isn’t the newest iPad, but it’s still what we think most people should buy. It works with a great range of existing accessories (including the first-generation Apple Pencil and any Lightning cables you already own), still has the classic Home button with Touch ID, has a 10.2-inch screen, and is well-priced for what it does. We’ve seen the price dip as low as $250 during sale events, but this is still a good discount.

If you’re looking for an iPad that can replace your laptop, grab the fifth-gen iPad Air (8/10, WIRED Recommends) with the powerful M1 processor, 5G support, higher-resolution selfie camera, and support for Center Stage so that you can stay centered on video calls. It also works with the newer second-generation Apple Pencil, rather than first-gen. It’s light and compact with a large 10.9-inch screen, making it great for getting work done.

Home and Kitchen Deals

Who doesn’t want a KitchenAid stand mixer, especially one that’s on sale? KitchenAid is the standard when it comes to great stand mixers, so there’s no reason not to jump on a better price for the 5.5-quart mixer unless you have a color preference—Target only has three colors available (at the time of writing).

The standard Dyson V8 is one of our favorite Dyson vacuums on a budget, and the Origin version is already a little cheaper since it doesn’t come with any accessories. You can get it even cheaper right now if you’re just looking for a solid cordless vacuum and don’t need the extras.

Other Target Deals

Halloween’s still almost a month away, but you’ll have better costumes to choose from if you shop early. Costumes aren’t cheap either, so getting a discount (which is both online and in stores) can go a long way if you’re buying more than one. Plus, who can resist a Minecraft sword or a hot dog costume?

If you’re shopping for something that isn’t falling under Target’s Circle Week deals, Target also has an offer to get 15 percent off one purchase, whether it’s in-store or online. Head to the Target Circle offers page (not the special landing page for Circle Week!) to see the coupon you can clip for a single purchase use.
