Google’s folding phone is cheaper than ever (but still expensive)

Foldable phones are the kind of thing that sound amazing on paper, but look less appealing when you have to shell out the paper for them. Google’s own Pixel Fold (8/10, WIRED Recommends) is a solid entry in the genre, but it’s normally close to a couple grand. Today, it’s knocked down to $1,400 which is still nearly twice as much as the also-fantastic Pixel 8 Pro, but to be fair, it’s also twice as much phone.
Here’s a stupid-good price on a stupid-good soundbar

Vizio has long been a master at soundbar value, and the M-Series 5.1.2 soundbar (9/10, WIRED Recommends) is the poster boy for all we love about the brand. Here you’ll find clear, full, and immersive sound in a no-nonsense multi-speaker system for hundreds less than we’d expect to pay even at full price, making this deal all the sweeter. This is the lowest we’ve seen the soundbar fall since around this time last year.
Get some damn peace and quiet with one of our favorite noise-cancelling headsets

The Sony WH-1000XM4 (9/10, WIRED Recommends) headphones have been some of our favorites since they first dropped in 2020. They’re sleek, sound amazing, and get up to 30 hours of battery life. Best of all, their noise-canceling feature is second to none. This is also the lowest price we’ve ever seen these headphones at, so if you need a break from the noise this holiday season, now’s the time.

Nordictrac’s studio cycle is half-off on this lightening deal
We’ve got our first crazy good lightning deal, the kind that makes us wonder if Amazon is going to cancel the order because there was a mistake.
Nordictrac’s commercial studio cycle is at $900, which Amazon is calling 40% off. The thing is, our price trackers say this workout device is normally $1,999, meaning Nordictrac’s flagship home workout cycle actually less than half its normal price. A caveat: unlike most things featured here we haven’t tested it, but it’s a well-known company and the reviews are positive but not suspiciously positive.
This is a lightning deal that was 3% claimed as of this posting time, good luck grabbing.

Nintendo Switch Black Friday Deals come when?

This go-anywhere console is the runaway hit of 2020, thanks to its versatility and Nintendo’s massive library of wholesome games. Play it as a handheld, prop it on a tabletop, or connect it to your T.V. for family fun. The Switch also supports online play, so your lil’ gamers can retreat into the popular world of Animal Crossing: New Horizons with their friends, where everything’s just fine.
Nintendo Switch deals: Everyone wants them, everyone is searching for them on Black Friday, and as yet they’re not really showing up. The best bargains we’ve seen so far on the Nintendo console are bundles that basically get you a free game with the system.
Walmart has bundle deals with Animal Crossing, Legend of Zelda and Mario Tennis Aces among a dozen or so titles. You can get the OLED model with Mario Kart for $359 from Walmart which is what I’d buy.
The basic console is running at $299 at Amazon with the OLED model going for $349.
The lesson here is that if everyone wants something and is desperately searching the internet for it the producer can be patient about offering it.

I’m one of the few people on earth who finds that the traditional AirPods fit me like a dream—I’ve loved the design since they were wired and connected to my iPod—but I’m increasingly jealous of people who get the Pro given the noise canceling and much better battery life.
Reviewer Parker Hall gave the latest model a glowing review last year (9/10, WIRED Recommends) writing that “the sound, noise canceling, and microphones are top-notch for everything from running music to vital conference calls.”
They have better battery life, significantly better sound quality, and even better noise-canceling tech than their predecessor, let alone my regular ol’ AirPods.
