Best Early Tech Labor Day Sales I’d Shop Myself (2026): AirTags, Dyson, and More

-

- Advertisment -

It’s never too early for deals, and the sales have already started popping up for Labor Day. While the holiday is a little later than usual this year (falling on Monday, September 7), that hasn’t stopped plenty of our favorite tech gear from going on sale, from Dyson vacuums to Apple AirTags.

Every item we feature is a tech gadget the WIRED Reviews team has tested and loved, usually a top pick from our guides, ranging from headphones and speakers to vacuums and chargers. We’ll be keeping an eye on the sales leading up to and through the holiday, so don’t miss your chance to get something off your tech wish list for a better price with these Labor Day sales.

Updated August 31: We’ve ensured accuracy throughout, removed expired deals, and added new discounts on Nothing earbuds, the JBL Clip 5, a magnetic car mount, a fan, the Sony XM5 headphones, a Soundcore speaker, and a robot vacuum. Louryn Strampe also contributed to this story.

Apple

AirTag (2nd Generation)

Need an AirTag to track your keys or luggage (or in my case, my son’s backpack when we’re on a trip)? Apple’s line of Bluetooth trackers can add up if you need to buy a lot, but you can get $5 off a single one right now, or $10 off a four-pack.

Ghost Case 2.0 (Pixelsnap)

If you’re a Google Pixel user and you need a new case, Dbrand makes one of our favorite cases for Pixel phones—especially if you’re in the market for a clear one. Its Pixelsnap-certified magnets are strong, the edges around the camera are slightly raised for extra protection, and it’s grippy. There’s no plasticky texture, either, which is nice to find on a clear case.

Devices charging on the Courant Mag 3 wireless charging pad

This charging tray from Courant is, simply put, gorgeous. It comes in both leather and linen finishes, and there are two chargers built into it for your phone and your wireless earbuds. The left charger is MagSafe-compatible, while the right side is a Qi charger you can use with either Apple or non-Apple products.

Andery

MagSafe Car Phone Holder

The best MagSafe car mount is usually pretty affordable, but this discount makes it even more attainable. It’s well ventilated and sticks supremely to any flat surface. It’s compatible with any MagSafe phone (or any magnetic phone case, which yours should be regardless of operating system.)

This smart tower fan is an honorable mention in our buying guide with the caveat that we like it more when it goes on sale. Well, it’s on sale right now, coming within $5 of the lowest price we’ve tracked. It’s quiet and tall, with a neat hidden digital display.

Early Vacuum Sales for Labor Day

My personal standout from Dyson’s newest vacuum is the V10 Konical. It has the new Dyson vacuum head, the All Floor Cones, and is usually on sale for the same price as the V8 Cyclone. However, the V10 Konical did better in my testing. While the base vacuum isn’t on sale right now, the version with the Auto-empty Dok is. That means you can get a great all-around Dyson that’s already well-priced, plus a docking station that both empties and charges the vacuum.

Shark

PowerDetect UV Reveal

Our top robot vacuum is down to the second-best deal we’ve seen, and it regularly jumps back up to its full $1,400 price. If you’re in the market and don’t want to wait until fall shopping events like Prime Day or Black Friday, this is a safe buy for a great gadget. Built-in AI intelligently cleans tricky messes, and the extendable arm can reach places other vacuums can’t. It also empties its own dust bin when cleaning is done, and it can even lift itself out of a situation when it gets stuck (most of the time).

Early Speaker and Headphone Deals for Labor Day

The best Bluetooth speaker is the JBL Flip 7, and it’s on sale for a little more than $50 off ahead of Labor Day. Buying a portable Bluetooth speaker means you won’t get everything you’d look for in a speaker, but the Flip 7 has a good balance between mobility and sound quality. It also packs better water resistance than past Flip models and a two-hour battery (or four with reduced bass). Not every color is on sale for this low, but most are at least slightly discounted.

This clip-on speaker packs surprisingly chunky sound for its size. The built-in carabiner means you can easily tote it around while you’re on the go, and the onboard controls are easy to find and operate. This deal is solidly in the middle of what we tend to see; sometimes it falls a bit more in price, but this discount isn’t a bad one.

anker soundcore 2 speaker outside on top of a cooler

This speaker fluctuates in price very often, and it has remained a steadfast budget recommendation in our Bluetooth speaker buying guide. We don’t see it fall below $30 frequently. The sound will not blow you away. But for the price, it’s decent, with great battery life and a very portable water-resistant design.

olive, black and white Move 2 sonos devices lined from left to right on white backdrop

If you’re in the market for a new Sonos speaker, the Move 2 has a nice discount right now with $100 off. It’s a large portable speaker that’s great for anyone who wants to add more punch to their Bluetooth tunes. The Move 2 has Bluetooth for streaming music on the go, Wi-Fi, and a USB-C port that can double as an analog line-in if you have a separate adapter.

Sony WH-1000MX5 headphones

They’re not the newest Sony headphones we love (the XM6), but at this price, it’s hard not to want to spring for it. This is the lowest price it tends to fall to, but it was selling for almost $50 more just a few days ago. Don’t get me wrong—the XM6 that came out earlier this year are a significant upgrade, but if you want a beautiful-sounding, comfortable, and stylish pair of noise-canceling headphones, the Sony XM5 will still make you very happy. Especially at this price.

Nothing earbuds consistently earn mentions in our buying guides, and the latest iteration is an honorable mention being sold at a very compelling price. The Nothing Ear (3a) are stylish and have solid sound, intuitive controls, and an optional app that’s actually useful. Noise cancellation could be better, but for less than $100 these are still a stellar budget pick.
