Dreo Summer Flash Sale 2026: Lowest Price Ever on Chefmaker, Fan

A Dreo Flash sale from August 1 to 3 is a deal that made me do an actual double-take: half off the Dreo Chefmaker combi air fryer. The Chefmaker is one of the most interesting pieces of cooking tech I reviewed last year: the only air fryer I’d ever cook a steak in. Or a roast. Or a pork chop.

That’s because it doesn’t work like other air fryers. It’s got a built-in probe and steam cooking—so it can bring any meat up slowly to the desired temperature, then reverse “sear” (probably just brown) your meat with a heat blast in the final step. It works like a charm, honestly.

And yet, it’s still also a basket-style fryer that’ll crisp wings, Tater tots, or french fries. It’s also a combi cooker, which means it aerates the oven with steam to lock in moisture on large cuts of meat. And it’s also an app-controlled probe cooker, which you can set to slowly bring meat up to temp before finishing with a blast of heat.

Anyway, it’s half-price right now for three days only, from August 1 to 3 on Dreo’s website. This is the lowest price I’ve ever seen for this device, and the lowest price I expect to see.

Chefmaker Combi Fryer

The Chefmaker’s low price almost certainly presages the long-promised launch of Dreo’s second-generation Chefmaker—which will be a lower-cost device with a way less-cool screen. This three-day sale is your chance to get the premium device at a lower cost.

The big upgrade on the soon-to-be-released device is access to AI recipes. But Dreo has hinted that AI-guided recipes will be available as a firmware update for the Chefmaker 1 also. So there’s little risk. Just note that while the probe-assisted cook is very well regulated on the temperature front, the thermostat on the “classic” nonprobe air fry or toaster oven cooks can swing off target by 20 degrees or so. This is true of lots of ovens, and it’s true here.

TurboCool Misting Fan 765S

The other terrific flash deal on Dreo’s three-day sale is perhaps even better for the dog days of summer: 30 percent off a misting fan that won’t get you wet. My colleague Kat Merck, who tests a lot of fans, was dubious of Dreo’s misting fan when it arrived. Frankly, a lot of misting fans just make a wet mess.

But the 12-speed TurboCool 765S misting tower fan borrows tech from Dreo’s humidifiers in order to diffuse ultrafine particles of mist. Small, like 17 microns small. Merck stood right in front of this fan at its highest mist setting, and her clothes and skin remained dry after several minutes. The fan’s a bit bulky—you’ll want a good place to put it where you don’t plan to move it—but the 6-liter tank should last a day.

For only three days, the fan is available for $140, 30 percent off its usual price of $200.
