Popular actress, Doris Ogala has responded to her colleague, Uche Ogbodo for defending Adanma Luke, the producer behind the movie that led to the tragic demise of Junior Pope and others.
Hours ago, Uche Ogbodo had shown her support for Adanma, stating that Adanma was only a victim of circumstances by being the producer of the job as most producers have taken such risks before.
Telling her to stand strong, she questioned what exactly was her crime for people to be calling for her arrest as she noted how Adanma is a young woman hustling to help herself and her family.
Pleading with Nigerians, she stated that the producer didn’t cause the accident as she had also risked her own life entering the boat without a life jacket.
Reacting to her statement, Uche Ogbodo stated that though she loves Uche Ogbodo as she is her sister, ignorance is not an excuse. She noted how lives were lost because of Adanma’s low-budget movie.
Doris noted how Junior Pope left behind his wife and kids and the other crew members who died left families behind, she stated that Adanma being a nursing mother shouldn’t be an excuse not to hold her accountable.
“Uche Ogbodo you are my sister and I love you so much. But ignorance is not an excuse. We lost the lives of our members because of Adanma Luke shortcut to archive a movie with low budget by so doing endangering the lives of these innocent people. Let’s remove sentiments and emotions here. Junior Pope left behind his wife and children. The other crew members have families.
